About the Schoenstein Pipe Organ

The Schoenstein & Co. Pipe Organ, Opus 176, was installed in December 2019. Built by Schoenstein & Co. of Benecia, California, the organ is comprised of sixteen ranks playable on a three-manual console with a full pedal board. The team of organ builders included Jack M. Bethards, former president and tonal director, vice-president Louis Patterson with design director Glen Brasel, installation foreman Chris Hansford, voicers Mark Hotsenpiller and Timothy Fink, and shop department heads, Erik Asprey, Humberto Palma and Chet Spencer.

The organ is designed in the English school of pipe organ building to meet the requirements of the Anglican music tradition. It is capable of accompanying the choir, soloists, and the congregation in robust songs each week.

The Schoenstein organ is capable of producing a continuum of first-class quality sound—from the softest whispers at the edge of audibility to the thunderous roar of all the pipes sounding together.

Guest organists are welcome anytime to enjoy the sonorities of this great instrument. Guests are additionally welcome to view the console following services, and special tours can be arranged through the music minister, Christopher Fasulo.
