St. Philip’s Church has proudly upheld a cherished partnership with the Hedgewood Home for Adults, an assisted living program in Beacon, NY, for an impressive twenty-five years. This enduring commitment is beautifully manifested in the bi-monthly celebrations of Holy Eucharist, where the warmth of fellowship and the uplifting melodies of music create a nurturing environment for the residents. Among these gatherings, the Sunday before Christmas stands out as a particularly joyous occasion, featuring a beloved musical service filled with familiar carols that resonate deeply with both residents and church members alike. This annual celebration not only brings the spirit of the season to life but also reinforces the profound connections fostered through shared worship and community spirit, illustrating the heart of St. Philip’s mission to transform lives through Christ and his teachings of love and justice.

Each year, the heartwarming tradition at St. Philip's Church in the Highlands brings our community together as we conduct a special appeal for gifts destined for the wonderful residents of Hedgewood.
