COMMUNITY

Something is always going on at St. Philip’s!

Sign up for our newsletter or check out our calendar to see what’s happening. If you have any questions please reach out to our parish office.

ADULT CHOIR

The St. Philip’s Adult Choir is open to singers of all ranges - trained professionals and shower singers are all welcome! Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9am in the church. Please email Christopher Fasulo, Music Minister for more information. All are welcome!

CHILDREN’S CHOIR

The St. Philip’s Youth Choir is a joyful opportunity for children ages kindergarten through middle school to come together to learn sacred music in the Episcopal tradition. Rehearsals are held Fridays after school in the Parish House, with once-a-month youth choir participation in the 10am Sunday worship service. Registration is open throughout the year.

CHILDREN’S CHAPEL

Our school-aged parishioners are encouraged to join us in the Church at 10am during most Sundays September through mid-June for the StoryMakers curriculum. Children start in the Church and then all head down to the Parish House mid-service.

OUTREACH

"The greatest among you will be your servant." Matthew 23:11

Following the teachings of Christ, the St. Philips congregation is committed to serving the community with support, love and encouragement to our neighbors near and far. Please visit the Outreach page to view our programs and upcoming volunteer opportunities.

NURSERY SCHOOL

St. Philip’s Nursery School, founded in 1960, offers a developmentally appropriate morning preschool program taught by a caring and experienced staff. Our goal is to give every child a joyful start to lifelong learning. Thanks to our location on the beautiful St. Philip's campus, much of our daily program takes place outdoors. Serving two, three, and four year olds, we are a non-profit school and a program of St. Philip's Church in the Highlands. Visit St. Philip’s Nursery School website for more information.

MISSION

As a vibrant and thriving member parish of the Episcopal Diocese of New York, St. Philip’s Church in the Highlands is a radically inclusive spiritual center for our community. We celebrate in the Episcopal tradition, work to transform lives through Christ and his teachings of love and justice, and to help restore all to unity with God.
